A massive fire broke out at five-storeyed Golden Gate hotel in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore this morning. Rescue team and fire tenders are at present at the spot and are carrying out the rescue operation. Efforts are being made to douse the fire that engulfed the entire building.
The hotel is located in the corporate area at Vijay Nagar in Indore.
Police said, a number of people were rescued, though a few are still believed to be trapped inside the building. No casualty has been reported yet, however, property worth lakhs is said to have been destroyed in the flame.
The cause of the fire is yet to be find out. More details awaited.
