Over six lakh readers of the Conde Nast Traveler from across the globe have voted for Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2019. Two Taj Palace hotels from India have made it to the list of top 10 best hotels in world category.Questionnaires were posted on CNTraveler.com, with readers voting for the best that the travel world has to offer.
In its first year as one global brand, Condé Nast Traveler has combined the annual readers surveys in the U.S. and the U.K. into one Global Readers’ Choice Awards list making it its biggest travel award ever.
Only two Indian hospitality brands are featured within the top 10 in The Best Hotels in the World category. While Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace selected as third best hotel in the world, Rambagh Palace in Jaipur ranksd 7th globally.These properties are managed by Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL) of the Tata Group. In 1984, James Bond film Octopussy was filmed at Taj Lake Palace.
