Monsoon to disappear soon from Himachal, cold increases down to snowfall in mountainous regions

Monsoon will leave the state of Himachal in a week time. As predicted by the meteorological center Shimla monsoon will depart from Himachal around October 8. On Wednesday there was sunshine across the state after six days of continuous rain.

From September 26 till 1st of October the rain has continued in various parts of the state. On Wednesday only, farmers and gardeners felt respite from the rain. Due to rain in the past several days maize and paddy crops have been spoiled.Cultivation of apple is also get affected. The weather is likely to remain mixed in the state till 5th of October. Again on 6th October, rain is expected in several areas.

Cold has increased in the high and middle mountainous regions of the state caused by snowfall in the mountainous regions. The Temperature has been reduced by three to four degrees in the state. On Tuesday night the minimum temperature in Keylong region was recorded at four degrees. 

Apart from this the minimum temperature recorded in Manali was  7.8, 10.2 in Dalhousie and 11.7 degree Celsius in Shimla. People have started wearing sweaters and jackets in those areas due to sudden fall of temerature.

On Wednesday,though the weather was clear,still  the maximum temperature in the state was recorded three to four degrees below normal. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature recorded in  Shimla was 21.6.
