Making its mark at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad 2019, Odisha Tourism has won the Excellence Award in the category of ‘Best Stall Decoration’. Known as India’s leading exhibition for the travel & tourism industry, the event was started at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on 5th July.
Since 1989, TTF has been providing an annual marketing platform and an opportunity to network with the travel trade in 9 major cities, culminating on the basis of number of sellers, buyers and rented area, in the grand finale – OTM – India’s biggest travel trade show.
On this platform Odisha Tourism showcased its latest travel offerings from the ongoing world’s largest chariot festival Rath Yatra to ecotourism, tribal tourism, sports tourism among others with the objective of capturing both domestic and international markets.
5 Tour Operators, Hoteliers, Travel Agents from Odisha participated in the event. Pre fixed B-2-B meet was organized with International and National Tour Operators,
Travel Agents, Travel Writer to attract more tourists to the State.
Featuring many domestic and out-bound destinations for Indian tourists the event stood out as the largest travel trade show in South India.
More than 165 exhibitors from 3 countries and 12 states participated this year in TTF SOUTH (Hyderabad). Sri Lanka, the Partner Country for TTF SOUTH was participating with a large delegation. Representatives from Indian state of Karnataka, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala also participated in the event.
About 46 corporates and 168 travel trade buyers from all over India were being hosted for the show within the show venue hotel Novotel, of HICC.
TTF is a place not just for the travel trade but for all travel lovers to visit. Visitors can explore many destinations, varied packages as well as plan and book their future holidays.
It is a knowledge-sharing platform which will bring though leaders from the travel industry for exclusive interactions and Q&A sessions.
TTF Hyderabad, the two-day travel trade show assembled state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways and cruise lines on one platform.
