In a bid to boost tourism in the State,Telangana government has taken new initiatives to promote eco-tourism and tourism of the state in general. The state tourism body has opened an A/C two-storey ferry and ten three-star cottages at the backwaters of Krishna River towards this initiative which is located in Somasila, Kollapur around 250 km away from Hyderabad. These tourist facilities were inaugurated by the minister for Tourism and Culture Srinivas Goud.
