California : Man rescued from 15-foot hole at Davenport Beach

A multi-agency response has located and started rescue operations for a man who fell in a hole at a Davenport beach.

Sources from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office confirmed,on Wednesday evening,a man fell into a 15-foot hole near Highway 1 and Cement Plant Road.

The man said to be suffered moderate, but non-life threatening injuries due to this happening.

According to CAL FIRE San Mateo – Santa Cruz Unit, crews were on scene at 5:15 p.m. for a person confined inside a hole in the hillside above the beach in Davenport.
