Goodnews for sports fans especially rock-climbing enthusiasts around the world as the world’s largest indoor skydiving chamber and tallest air-conditioned climbing wall is set to open in Abu Dhabi on 29th November,Friday.
This building is a magnificent example of modern design and the activities inside are also breaking world records.
Clymb Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island and connected to Yas Mall and Ferrari World will feature two incredible indoor adventures that any enthusiast thrill-seeker will desire to attempt. The sporting facility here will feature a 43-metre indoor climbing wall – the world’s tallest – which will be ideal for beginner, intermediate and expert climbers.
Maybe this is the best part of this thrilling new venue as it will be able to cater to skydivers of as young as three-years-old.
The Media Office of Abu Dhabi Government said the opening date was brought forward from 2020 to November this year.This Dh367 million project, Clymb Abu Dhabi is designed to present unique sporting challenges for global sports fans as well as to enhance the emirate’s position as a global tourism destination, with world-class attractions for all travellers.
The 9.75m-wide flight chamber, the world’s widest, will allow visitors to mimic a skydiving experience in a chamber. So, those who are too afraid to commit to a full Skydive Dubai jump, can get a taste of the adventure sport here.
Ticket and timing information
Clymb Abu Dhabi will be open from noon to 9pm on Sunday through Thursday and noon to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
For beginners the tickets for Indoor skydiving start from Dh215, inclusive of pre-flight training, flight gear rental, one-on-one flight instruction and two flights. Pro-flyers can book with rates starting at Dh700.
For beginners the tickets for indoor wall climbing start from Dh95 and is inclusive of 90-minute access to indoor climbing walls and instructor supervision. Those experienced, can buy a ticket starting from Dh100 that includes a mandatory level check by an instructor (either level 2, 3 or 4) and safety briefing. Both tickets are inclusive of climbing gear rental including helmet, harness and climbing shoes.
