Indian Railways and IRCTC are introducing a digital reading experience to its customers and users. Being partnered with digital magazine newsstand, Magzter, recently, IRCTC has added this new feature to its official web portal – www.irctc.co.in
The feature will facilitate, IRCTC users with an unlimited access to over 5,000 best-selling magazines and they can even choose newspapers on their smart phones and tablets, at an exclusive offer.
The best part of this facility is that, it can be used offline, once the desired magazines are downloaded on your device. Except english magazines, Magzter also has provision for magazines in regional languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi and Urdu. Additionally, the commuters will get access to premium articles curated from best-selling magazines. This facility is infact very very useful for the passengers who are on a long-route journey. 
To access Magzter, the users have to follow few steps like :
1.Go to the IRCTC website
2.Under “IRCTC Exclusive” section, click on the link for Digital Magazine
3.Click on Magzter white labeled website
4.Now enter your contact number and verify it using OTP
5.Now login into Magzter account using Facebook or email account or else click on sign up to create an account if you are a new user
6.Now login into Magzter account
7.Under your account, click on My SubscriptionsTo select the magazine from list, click on read 5000 plus magazine
8. To read a magazine, click on read
9.Now, choose the payment plan if not opting for seven-day free trial
10.Now, repeat step number 6 to 9 in order to login and read the desired magazine
Here the customers can access more than 40 different categories of magazines for all age groups, including business, comics, politics, education, automotive, fashion, fitness, entertainment, lifestyle, news, science, technology and travel.
Presently, accessed on the IRCTC website,The facility is availed at a discounted price for IRCTC users and portal visitors.
Further the feature is designed to be offered, in customized packages as well as in exclusive 7 days free trial package. One such offer starts at Rs 20 excluding GST per day journey. Users can opt their packs on duration basis like per day, per week, per month, per year or unlimited reading option is available as well.
The per day pack costs Rs 20, which is a special pack designed only for IRCTC users. Then the weekly, monthly and yearly packs cost Rs 30, Rs 99- Rs 399 and Rs 499 – Rs 3,999 respectively. But, all the above mentioned rates are exclusive of taxes.
As stated by the IRCTC, users can enjoy unlimited access to quality contents from prominent countries including India, USA, UK, Singapore, Australia, Canada and South Africa during their journey with the Indian Railways.
