According to the World travel and tourism council(WTTC), India is world’s third most powerful country in terms of travel and tourism.According to a survey among 185 countries,on the increase in the tourism’s contribution to the GDP,international visitor spend,domestic spend and capital investments over the past seven years.China,the U.S. and India are the top rankers.
The Tourism industry contributes 10.3 to the world’s GDP and generate a lot of employment opportunities.The World Tourism day is a celebration of this fast-growing sector and on this auspicious occassion the council declared the three most powerful countries of the sector and proudly India is one of them.
