Former member of Parliament and a renowned actress of India, Jaya Prada has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal tourism. The 60 year old will now play this important role for 4 years. India being a big source market for the country, this step is expected to strengthen the relations between the two countries. Tourism is still a major source of income and employment for Nepal and all efforts are made to improve and promote the industry.
