WORLD’S BIGGEST HOTEL WITH 10,000 ROOMS WAS NEVER USED

This is hotel Prora, a monstrous building complex built somewhere in the range of 1936 and 1939 by the Nazis. It is extended for more than three miles along the white-sandy beach on Germany’s Baltic Sea island of Ruegen, and considered as the world’s greatest hotel with 10,000 sea facing rooms. For a long time since it was constructeded, no holidaymaker has ever stayed there. It was created as a component of the Nazi’s ‘Strength through Joy’ (Kraft durch Freude or KdF) program. The point was to give leisure activities for German workers and spread Nazi purposeful publicity. Local people recognize Prora the Colossus as a result of its grand structure.
