‘Discover India’ – a new travel scheme which has been launched by Air India recently, especially for the Indian diaspora and foreign tourists.
The scheme has been introduced in the wake of people’s increasing interest to fly different destinations of tourism and religious interest, stated the flag carrier airline of India.
Under the new scheme, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign nationals, for their first leg of travel, can buy five Air India domestic economy class tickets for ₹40,000 with a validity of travel within 15 Days.
Along with this, the passengers are also allowed to buy ten domestic economy class tickets for ₹75,000 with a validity period of 30 Days. Both the schemes will be offered on firm basis.
At the same time, the flying destinations within the country will be of passengers’ choice purely, which can further be rerouted as per the change of their need.
In addition, with this scheme passengers can enjoy other advantages like they can re-book their tickets without penalty till four hours prior to scheduled departure and also can reschedule their journey date completely free of charge. ‘Discover India’ is valid for sale and travel up to March 31, 2020.
