The government of Madhya Pradesh is going to apply new rules soon for companies that operate mobile phone app based cab services. Under this system, the cab company will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 for refusing to serve after accepting the booking.
As per the statement made by State Transport Department Deputy Secretary Niaz Khan, if the cab company refuses to serve the customer after accepting the booking, then the company will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000. In fact, the government has drafted rules to operate cab companies.
He informed that this draft has been sent to the Law Department of the state after administrative approval. He wished after the approval of the Law Department, it will be released in a month. He informed that cab aggregators Ola, Uber and another cab company are offering their services in big cities of the state.
As reported, the cab booking customers had complained to the government of the cab companies in this regard. That is why the government has taken this initiative in this matter.
