From the very beginning India and Russia have been sharing a strong strategic, military, economic and diplomatic relationship. With an intention of making it more special and privileged, both nations are set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in coming days.
This time the Indian state of Goa and the Kamchatka Kray region of Russia, being parts of this strategic ties will sign the MoU in the fields of trade, economic investment, scientific and technical cooperation, and tourism.
Boosted with their rapid economic growth, India and Russia have attained a new self-confidence now. As rising economic powers, both the nations are playing an increasingly larger role on the world stage. So a strong relationship between these two countries will surely be proved beneficiary on the global level.
However, there is a need to create wider public interest and understanding for developing the relationship, especially among the increasingly influential younger generations and for a durable relationship, trade ties need to be expanded.
The MoU, allowing for an exchange of information on the investment climate and business conditions has got a nod from the state cabinet already. Further it will assist in the implementation of joint projects in priority areas too.
In addition, it will promote the exchange of official and business delegations in the fields of trade, economy and commercial enterprises.
The agreement is tend to be signed in Vladivosto during the fifth Eastern Economic Forum, which is to be conducted from September 4 to 6.
