Spreading over 140 acres of land, the estate holds 10 luxurious barrel-suits which can impress you with its exquisite interiors. Each barrel is about 270 square feet, as reported by Wine Tourism of Portugal.
The exterior of the barrels is made of simple pine wood, and each one’s interior is designed with elegant bedroom plus attached spa. Infact every inch of the estate is totally Instagrammable. Each air conditioned barrel features expensive amenities like a private bathroom with modern fixtures, a walk-in shower, a king-size round bed and rooftop skylight to gaze at the stars, a private terrace and Wi-Fi.
The property is one of the best estates in the Douro region of Portugal and also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own label.
The hotel offers its guests to enjoy the taste of its products and an inside tour of its wine making room too. Here you can even get a chance to taste 116-year-old wine along with samples of locally made jam and olive oil. The hotel also has an gorgeous restaurant to savour a sumptuous dinner.
