Indian Railway catering and ticketing arm IRCTC has now come up with a key facility for devotees visiting the temple of Shri Sai Baba at Shirdi, to book Shri Sai Baba Darshan tickets online, on its website www.irctc.co.in. Now onwards the devotees don’t have to go for the tedious process of queuing a long for it. This facility has come into being from 26th January, 2019 on the occasion of Indian Republic day.
According to the statement of IRCTC, Shri Saibaba Darshan tickets can be availed to users booking railway e-tickets for the destination stations of – Shirdi Sai Nagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Nasik and Nagarsol.
At the time of booking, users with confirmed PNRs, can be provided with this facility of booking the Darshan Tickets at ‘Booking Confirmation Page’ and failing to do so, users can go for the further option of booking or printing them at ‘Ticket Booked History’ under My Account section of IRCTC.
Additionally, while booking tickets, devotees are allowed with the facility of choosing their darshan dates online as well. They have the flexibility of fixing it on their very arriving date or any of the two following days of their arrival.
Though the darshan is available on the booked date only, devotees can choose their timing at their own convenience. However only one darshan transaction is allowed per user coming through IRCTC.
Facilitating religious tourism in the country, all such decisions have been taken by IRCTC in association with Shri Sai Sansthan. In Phase I the facility is conferred to the online bookings of paid darshan tickets and later this will be extended to free Darshan devotees also.
