The Philippines is nowadays in news headlines for good reasons. Only weeks after Catriona Gray of the Philippines was delegated Miss Universe 2018 in mid-December, another Filipina magnificence has been crowned the Miss Tourism World Intercontinental for 2019. The beauty pageant was held in Nanjing, China on January 8, 2019.
The 20 years old Francesca Taruc belongs to the city of Angeles, in Pampanga Province of the Philippines. This famous Filipina model has recently completed her graduation degree in Mass Communication from Holy Angel University. Besides being a model and a beauty queen Taruc is an acknowledged vlogger as well.
Miss Tourism World Intercontinental which is neither associated nor affiliated with any of the big four international beauty pageants (the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International), rather it seems to be linked with Miss Tourism World, an apparently international contest takes place in China each year.
The current year’s winner, Taruc apart from winning the crown, also received the award for “Best Body” in the preliminary round of the competition.
The winners of the first and second runners up were the contestants from the Russian Republic of Tartarstan and from the Ukraine, respectively.
