Cruise lines have always been taking the lead when it comes to ultimate luxury.The year 2019 is not an exception in this regard as there is an array of new cruise line to sail the seven seas and remembered for their unmatched luxury on the high seas.

In 2018, 27.2million people have taken a cruise by making the cruise industry the fastest growing sector in travel industry worldwide. This is 6% higher as compared to 2017.To sustain such  rising demand, cruise lines are launching some more advanced and luxurious cruise ships.

MSC Bellissima – March, 2019 

Weighing at 167,600 gross tons and with a passenger capacity of 4,500, MSC Bellissima is the newest and largest cruise ship ever to cruise roundtrip from Dubai in the Arabian Gulf  and undeniably one of the most exciting  cruise ship unveiling in 2019 and is homeporting in Dubai for the upcoming winter cruise season  between November, 2019 and March, 2020.

The ship will be much accepted by  families in particular , as it features “cluster cabins” which allows up to three interconnected  staterooms.The Cruise line also featured with Near Field Communication technology which  allows its guests to access their cabins, make onboard payments/booking and to locate their kids by using a bracelet, onboard card or smartphone.

Up top, there will be a large water park, a solarium with a retractable roof, a 4D Cinema, F1 car simulator, Flight Simulator and a Super Amusement Park to add the excitement.
Spectrum of the Seas :-
Weighing at 168,800 tonnes, Royal Caribbean’s ‘Spectrum of the Seas’ is all set to launch in April 2019. It has the capacity of accommodating 4,200 passengers at a time.
The ship has 2,809-square-foot, two- storeyed Ultimate Family Suites. The interesting  feature of these suites is the in-room slides that go from the top floor to the bottom and it has a huge karaoke venue also.
Apart from this the ship is highlighted with a North Star, a glass capsule that gives an ultimate excitement by taking the guests on a skydiving to more than 300 feet above the ocean. It has also a three-storeyed main dining hall and a bungee trampoline excitation.

Voyage :    With a 51-night ‘Global Odyssey’ the Spectrum of the Seas will start its sail from Barcelona and reach Shanghai, taking in 13 countries in its voyage.
Scenic Eclipse :-
Scenic Eclipse will be the world’s ‘first six star cruise liner’. This Scenic Cruises’s luxury line is equipped with two on-board helicopters and a submarine.

With carrying capacity of 228 passengers, this cruise line will feature 114 all-veranda suites along with a spacious spa, 10 on-board dining options, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and descent pools, along with a gym and separate yoga and Pilates studios.

Adding to the excitement of  passengers its on-decked helicopters and submarine are meant to take them up close to, and to land on, glaciers during Arctic sailings.

Voyage : After facing much  delay, finally the Scenic Eclipse will  be on its first sailing  in April 2019 and will be routed from Barcelona to Athens.
MS Roald Amundsen :-
Roald Amundsen, world’s first hybrid ship, that is designed to run both on electricity and fuel. Bearing the name of world’s first man to reach the South Pole, the liner is operated by Hurtigruten. It going to be launched in May 2019.

Its unique feature includes an on-board science centre and the ocean liner will sail around both the Arctic and Antarctic. Over 500 passengers can be welcomed to its board.

Further the ship has a vast in and outdoor observation decks and during the journey, guests can cherish a drink with panoramic views through its large  windows on the front-facing Explorer Lounge on deck 10.

Voyage :  On May 17 2019, Roald Amundsen will take its maiden voyage, from Lisbon to Hamburg.

This is not all…., the ocean waves still have to encounter much more casual elegance and such luxury liners will take cruise tourism steps ahead in this year.
