Sudden ailing of baby makes indigo for an emergency landing in Bhubaneswar Airport

An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport this morning  after a three-year-old baby got sick inside.

 

According to sources, the Indigo 905 flying from Guwahati to Chennai was diverted to the Biju Patnaik International Airport after the baby developed seizure. Following a appeal for help from the parents, the pilot informed the matter to the traffic control centre of the Biju Patnaik International Airport. The airport authorities agreed and the plane landed at the airport at around 9:27 AM, official sources said.

 

After the flight landed, medical assistance was instantly provided to the baby at Bhubaneswar airport itself. Doctors there  immediately referred  the child to transfer to the hospital for further treatment and  the infant  was rushed to the Capital Hospital  and later shifted to Apollo hospital for further treatment.
