Airport and city centre hotel chain Yotel has declared to open its second hotel in New York.It has plan to open the 178-cabin hotel in late 2020 in Long Island City where Amazon recently announced it would establish one of the campuses of its new Amazon HQ2 Corporate Headquarters. YOTEL follows footsteps of Amazon by announcing its new property in partnership with Eastone Equities.
Inspired by the glossy design and soothe of First-Class airline travel, YOTEL first launched its city hotel concept in Midtown Manhattan, just minutes away from Times Square. The Yotel is impenitently ultramodern. Guests check in at touch-screen kiosks are alike those found at airports. The hotel’s tech de resistance is the world’s first-ever robotic luggage handler.

YOTEL Long Island City is Yotel group’s eighth property either under development or operational in the US with city hotels in Boston, San Francisco and Miami alongside three Park City and Mammoth YOTELPAD properties in Miami, Park City and Mammoth.
Yotel Long Island City will be fully equipped with an always opened gym, rooftop terrace and bar with indoor and outdoor space, multi-functional public areas and access to co-working and meeting spaces taking the eye-catching views of Manhattan skyline.
Cabins will feature the brand’s signature SmartBed which converts into a sofa, as well as free superfast wifi, smart TVs, multiple power and USB ports, and Urban Skincare amenities.
