Baha Mar, the Bahamas newest luxury resort destination has confirmed its $200m beachfront water park to open on July 2 with exclusive access to Baha Mar guests only, however, the resort announced public access and day passes are in the works to become available later on in the summer months. Significantly this 15-acre waterpark has created 450 direct job opportunities.
The Baha Bay complex will feature 24 waterslides, a water coaster, group raft rides, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, an action river and a surf simulator, among other amenities.
Other highlights include an outdoor casino pavilion, which claims to be the world’s first outdoor casino within a waterpark, as well as children’s splash zones designed to cater to different ages.
Baha Bay will also offer a variety of dining options, including concepts from SBE’s C3 food and beverage platform,such as Sam’s Crispy Chicken and Umami Burger.

Access to Baha Bay will be available exclusively to guests staying at Baha Mar’s Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood properties.
Concurrent with Baha Bay’s July debut, Baha Mar said it plans to reopen its Baha Bay Beach Club venue, which is home to the 25 North restaurant and offers access to private cabanas, daybeds, infinity pools and poolside lounge areas.
