On arrival of Cruise ship COSTA VENEZIA to Shenzhen port, southeastern China near Hong Kong, in the morning of 26th January, after completion of a 6-day cruise to Vietnam,the cruise ship was boarded by medical team.All 4973 passengers and 12 49 crew were checked by medics for symptoms of fever and pneumonia. Of those,4 were found to have high temperature.148 passengers those who are either residents of Wuhan or visited Wuhan very recently, were isolated for a stricter screening.
All Passengers and crew spent the whole day on board. They were permitted to get off in the evening on same day. The next scheduled cruise is also cancelled for which 5155 tourists will be refunded which includes air tickets costs.
