India gears up to promote Water tourism,Cruise from Mumbai to Bali With Stopovers At Goa, Kochi & Andamans to become reality soon

Good news for Indian Cruise lovers those dreaming of going on a cruise to Bali.The Indian government is gearing up and in talks with the Indonesian officials to start a cruise that will sail from Mumbai to Bali with stopovers at Goa, Kochi and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.  

So before making your way into international waters and landing up in the best island of Indonesia, you could be covering some of the best island locations of India

The Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, Nitin Gadkari has actively been looking to promote cruise tourism in India. The second best way of travelling by sea is one of the funnier ways of exploring places and at present not as popular in India. According to him, “I have met a minister from Indonesia. We have initiated the idea of starting a cruise from Mumbai to Andaman & Nicobar via Goa and Kochi. The ships can go up to Bali, Indonesia”.

South-east Asia though manages to get a lot of tourist traffic from India. Indians  love beaches and South-east Asia happens to be one of the most inexpensive options as compared to other countries when it comes to planning an international trip. And what better way of doing that than by getting on a cruise ship and making your way into international waters and having a gala time doing it.

Stepping towards making cruises a commonality, the Mumbai Port Trust is actually already in the process of developing and building a cruise terminal near the famous Ballard Pier. Set to have a capacity of 7 lakh passengers annually, this is the latest measure taken to boost water tourism in India.

Though the concerned officials are yet to share the exact details of the cruise, the cruise lovers are already dreaming about taking the cruise and living the sailor life.
