Heritage Sites Of India To Adopt Foreign languages For International Tourists

Major heritage sites of India are soon to install information boards in foreign languages as briefed by Prahlad Singh Patel, Tourism Minister  of India recently.

The sites will bear information in three foreign languages and the choice of languages will depend upon the countries from where that particular monument gets the maximum number of tourists.

This might also be followed by a digital code on the board, where tourists can point their phones and get the details of that particular monument.

This certainly  is a welcoming idea from the side of the Tourism Ministry of India as language is the best introduction to a new culture. It automatically raises tourists’ affinity in the cultural traditions of the nation. Complementarily, traveling is way more fun and easier when travelers find their known terminology in a foreign land.
