California’s Disneyland park has introduced a new mega-attraction based on the iconic film series – Star War, last week, has received an overwhelming response from the lovers of the epic space-opera. The amusement park popularly known as “Galaxy’s Edge.” Last week, on its opening, only a few fortunate visitors who managed to book tickets in advance were granted to tour the new land for full four hours. Visitors with reservations will be able to visit the park for the first three weeks, after which it will be open to the public.
The $1 billion theme park is highlighted with different kinds of rides which includes on the Millennium Falcon, as well as Star Wars characters such as Stormtroopers, the mighty Chewbacca and Rey, a hero of the resistance in the futuristic land of Batuu.Particularly, on “Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run,” guests will have the chance of going on a cargo trip that features multiple storylines based on how they pilot the Corellian smuggler – Han Solo’s beloved spaceship.
At a pre-opening ceremony of the new attraction, The Walt Disney Company’s Chairman and CEO – Bob Iger announced with excitement that Star Wars: ‘Galaxy’s Edge’ is absolutely amazing and it is an unlimited thrill for the company to share it with the world finally.
He added, ‘Now visitors can gain a unique experience of living their own Star Wars adventures in the most creative, innovative and ambitious manner, for the first time, by roaming inside the land we’ve ever fabricated. This time fans will be able to indulge themselves in the iconic stories that have conquered audiences’ imaginations for decades.’
Along with all such entertainments Star Wars enthusiasts will also be avail with exotic drinks like spicy Bloody Rancor or Carbon Freeze at Oga’s Cantina or can refresh themselves with Blue or Green Milk.
At the end of the day, after going for all these, if the visitors are still left with more money, they can opt to build their own lightsabers (a fictional energy sword featured in the Star Wars universe) at Savi’s Workshop at an expense of $200 – excluding tax or can customize droids (a fictional robot of Star War Science) which will cost nearly $100.
This year, in late August, Florida’s Disney World is also going to witness a similar Star Wars park as well.
