Educators Are To Be Awarded For their Eminent Role For the Society : Norwegian Cruise Line Is Offering Free Cruises This Spring

A teacher’s job is to produce good human beings in the society and  good citizens to the country and the task is challenging no doubt. Realising the eminence of the profession, a Norwegian Cruise Line is launching a campaign to show its appreciation for educators by granting free cruises to motivational teachers.

Keeping in mind the upcoming Teacher Appreciation Week in May, the cruise line is seeking nominations of educators who are “spreading the joy of learning” in their classrooms. Citizens of the U.S. or Canada can recommend the name of their favorite teachers for the nominations. Even the teachers themselves can  nominate their names as well. April 12, 2019, is the last date for filing the nominations to win a free cruise on the Norwegian Joy.

After the deadline, 15 lucky teachers will be chosen as finalists. Once nominated, anyone can vote for their favorite teacher or share their posts on social media to acquire more votes.

The awardees’ free cruising on the Norwegian Joy will include a seven-day trip for two individuals, airfare, and accommodations to an award ceremony where the winners will have an opportunity of winning $15,000 for their school. Thus the cruise line will not only encourage the educators for their contributions to the society, but also elevate the institutions which are their work domains. This thing will benefit both students and educators ultimately.

In this prospective the president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line, Mr. Andy Stuart worded, “Travel is a powerful means of education which accompanies  people as well as the diverse cultures of the world.

By offering Joy campaign on our Norwegian Cruise Line, we celebrate the power of education and travel, and reward teachers who have shouldered the responsibility of our future, our children, and who stick to that responsibility with their 100% too.”

Without any dilemma, many educators believe travel and education go hand in hand. As per an estimation, 74 percent of teachers, facilitated by the Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA) believe that extensive travel bring out  more successful students, and that travel can have long positive impacts on students’ careers and education.
