“We’re looking for an adrenaline junkie who would not only be an adventure enthusiast, but also has a unique ability of capturing a moment and narrating a story out of it by simply spreading it, in the social media,” as said by a spokesperson of Royal Caribbean.
The candidates who will get the nod, will visit a glacier in Alaska, explore Osaka in Japan, go white water rafting in the Norwegian Fjords, and spend time on a private island in the Caribbean, detailing their experiences on Royal Caribbean’s Instagram, Insta-Stories and IGTV pages.
Among all the most tempting one is to experience the unique trip to Royal Caribbean’s new and exclusive private island in the Caribbean – Perfect Day at CocoCay, set to open in May 2019, all while shadowing expert photographer Russ Francis.
In order to apply for the job, the minimum age limit is 21 years and the the applicants should be of British and Irish origin. They simply need to post an “extraordinary travel story, video, or image” on Instagram tagging @RoyalCaribbeanUK and #ShoreExplorer. The aspirants are supposed to apply for the job before March 1 2019.
Photographer Russ Francis will be one of the judges of the competition and among other jury members there will be The Vamps’ guitarist and “I’m A Celebrity” star James McVey, and travel writer Nadia El Ferdaoussi.
“By creating such a post, we’re aspiring that the winning candidate will take our shore excursion programme to the next level,” reported the spokesperson, Royal Caribbean.
