A latest study by Skyscanner revealed the cheapest day to fly out of the UAE. It’s different from the oft-referenced cheapest day to buy tickets – Tuesday. Its study also reveals the best time to book your flight as well as the worst one.
As per the travel search site, Thursdays are the cheapest day of the week to fly out of the UAE. Based on data that they have collected from 2018, Skyscanner found that travellers could expect an estimated 10 per cent saving if they change their departure dates from a Friday to Thursday. Friday, surprisingly, is the most pricey day to fly out of the country.
Besides that, the study also reveals the best day to book a flight is saturday . Travellers could able to save up to two per cent on their plane tickets if they plan to book it on Saturday. On the other hand, bookings done on Wednesday might be a bad plan as the study shows it’s the priciest day to go for booking tickets.
However,the study shown some exciting findings helping out to get a cheap flight. According to the website, Dubai-Delhi flights are 22 per cent cheaper when reserved 19 weeks in advance. On the other hand Dubai-Manila flights must be booked 3-6 weeks in advance as they are 4 per cent cheaper than average. Booking a flight from Dubai-Islamabad, for the moment, should be done 10-24 weeks in advance as they are 10 per cent cheaper than average.
