2. Khirsu :
Acquiring a decent name as a hill station, the unexplored Khirsu is situated in the Pauri Garhwal area. It is arranged at a separation of 15 km from the Pauri town. Being spotted with the oak, deodar trees and apple plantations it is a beautiful and interesting tourist spot .

In the lap of Kumaon slopes, at an elevation of 7500 feet, Mukteshwar is named after its famous 350 years old ‘Mukteshwar Dham Temple’ . Mukteswar is 51 Kms away from Nainital and 72 Km from Haldwani. Here ‘Chauli-Ki-Jali’, an incredible spot to appreciate rock climbing, is situated on the edge of a cliff close to the Mukteshwar Dham Temple.
With a stunning vision of the Kumaon hills, the place is ideal for various adventure activities. Jim Corbett, the eminent hunter and naturalist was said to be gone gaga for the appeal of this place and made it his second home.
