‘Muziris Paddle 2019’ The Kayaking Expedition to flag off on 5th Jan: Aims to create awareness for river conservation

Jellyfish Watersports together with Muziris Heritage Project (Kerala Tourism) is geared up to organise a two-day kayaking expedition ‘ Muziris Paddle 2019’. Over 200 paddlers are expected to take part in the  most incredible nature experiences of Kerala.The expedition is scheduled for two days starting 5th of January and ends on 6th. Jan 2019.

 

The event which will be flagged off from the Kotturpuram Jetty in Kodungalloor district and end at Bolgatty Island in Kochi  through the National Waterway3 (NW3), covering an easy distance of 20 km each day with several breaks  to visit places of interest and meet up and greet the locals. The kayakers will cover an overall distance of 40 km navigating through rivers, backwaters and important Muziris destinations on the way.

 

Muziris Paddle is a brilliant way to experience Kerala through its water bodies and be part of the budding eco and responsible tourism initiatives. It also supports  creating more awareness about the conservation of river and keep hold of its original beauty”, says Kaushiq Kodithodi, Founder, Jellyfish Watersports.

 

Jellyfish Watersports will manage the whole expedition. This event is open to beginners and expert paddlers as well. The participants will also get an opportunity to learn skills from expert trainers and river guides.
