In a bid to propagate better environmental practices through Socio-cultural artwork Smart city Bhubaneswar is getting ready to host the first ever Public Art symposium from 1st November to 20th November at Kalinga Nagar,Bhubaneswar.This mega event is being jointly organised by Artists Network Promoting Indian Culture (ANPIC) and Bhubaneswar Development Authority.
Speaking about the upcoming event Bhabani Sankar Chayani,the BDA Official said this inventiveness by ANPIC is praiseworthy where International artists will display their arts and sculptures using the waste materials.
14 Countries namely Australia, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Malaysia, Sweden, China, England, Canada, Belgium, New Zealand, Spain, Ireland participating this event to showcase their crafting sculptures from waste stuffs and all this sculptures will be permanently displayed at a open air Sculpture Museum contributed from BDA for Public.
Themed on ‘Reduce,Reuse,Recycle’ this museum would create awareness on environment,Climate change and reuse of waste materials.This will also promulgate ecological messages like banning of plastic bags to planting new forests for the people to awake.It will also highlight the Odisha Olive Ridley Turtle, the Indian /Odisha Elephant, the Indian Rhino, the Nilgiri Tahr, the Bengal Tiger, the Blackbuck, Snow Leopard to name a few.
