India to become World’s third largest Aviation market surpassing UK by 2024:IATA

The International Air Transport Association in IATA 20-year Air Passenger Forecast reveals that passenger figures in air transport could be doubled to 8.2 billion in 2037.The latest update shows that India will position itself after USA to become third largest aviation market overtaking UK in 2024-25.At the same time China will turn out to be the largest aviation market in world replacing USA in mid 2020s.The transformation of China’s financial system towards spending will carry strong demand over the long term.Likewise Indonesia will be elevated to fourth largest aviation economy and Thailand to enter the top 10 world’s largest aviation market by 2030.

More than half of the total new passengers when taken into account for coming 20years, Asia-Pacific region will make the biggest growth in aviation market. Continual healthy economic escalation, good population, upgrading household earnings and demographic profile will be the major factors considered to be reason behind this forecasting growth.

As said by IATA Chief Alexandre de Juniac,the incessant rise of aviation market will make massive benefits for the world. He anticipated doubling of air passengers in next 20 years will generate 100 million jobs worldwide.He also added,the growing aviation industry committed to pursue wide-ranging environmental measures targeting carbon-neutral growth from 2020 onwards and reducing Carbon dioxide emissions to half 2005 levels by 2050.
