The Caffe Lavena, Venice sparks anger again for its extreme prices!!

Established in 1750, Caffe Lavena provides an excellent environment with good sunlight, orchestra and many other facilities to their customers. However,it has been in news many times for its exorbitantly high charges. This time a 62 year old political campaigner, Juan Carlos Bustamente was stunned after being charged an enormous $49.5 for just two cups of coffee and two bottles of drinking water. He then posted a picture of the bill in Facebook expressing his outrage, which has been shared for 10,000 times.

Apparently, The extra charge was due to his seat outside the cafe, which offers a good amount of sunlight and a famed location just opposite St Mark’s Basilica. This is not the first time that the renowned cafe had faced disappointments due its huge charges. In 2013, four customers came up with the same complain also in TripAdvisor 25% people rated its coffee as terrible and poor.
