SIKKIM’S PAKYONG GREENFEILD AIRPORT TO BE DEDECATED TO THE NATION ON SEPTEMBER 24TH

Sikkim’s air availability is good to go to get a tremendous lift when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Pakyong Greenfeild Airport to the country on September 24. Pakyong Airport, being the 100th air terminal of india,will assume a pivotal job in associating Sikkim with the rest of India. It took the administration almost 10 years to commission the airport . Pakyong Airport is a piece of Modi government’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme that aims to give minimal cost connectivity to far-flung regions . The Pakyong Airport is Sikkim’s first of its kind , situated at a height of 4500 ft from the ocean level. The airport is aspired to give a tremendous lift to Sikkim’s tourism.
