AURANGABAD’S ‘AJANTA AND ELLORA’ CAN TURN INTO A HOTSPOT FOR BUDDHIST TOURISM

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in relationship with Ministry of Tourism had sorted out International Buddhist Conclave in Aurangabad, with a desire to aware people on different places that are related with the Buddhist culture in the state. This occasion was intended to promote Ajanta and Ellora as a traveler hotspot in the international Buddhist Tourism map.

By fortifying their ties with Buddhist countries around the world, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation is attempting to make new roads in the state for Buddhist Tourism . The administration body further intends to offer its land bank to Buddhist nations for creating Buddhist theme parks and religious communities close to Ajanta, the UNESCO cultural site in Aurangabad. MTDC is wanting to tie up with KJ Somaiya Center for Buddhist Studies to acquaint new tour packages to advance Buddhist Tourism in the state.
